A Parsons alumni with a background in menswear and footwear, Jaya blends her technical knowledge with playful whimsy to create pieces that are both functional and creative, rooted in craftsmanship and her commitment to sustainability.

Handmade in Montreal, studio J’ai reimagines discarded textiles, from deadstock rolls to your grandma's curtain into fun, one-of-a-kind Cabbagecore™ bags released in small themed drops. We now carry a Core Collection as well, built using consciously chosen materials that honor the brand’s ethos.
